Perks of being a Wall Flower, 13 Reasons why, and still no Maximum ride!

I've done a lot of reading this weekend and read some books I did not think I would read. I picked up 13 reasons why after starting a new book by Jay Asher. Mrs.Palmer explained the book to me and I thought Id give it a try. It was a very interesting read and I did really enjoy it. It kept wondering until  the very end. After finishing 13 Reasons as looking for another book to read before the end of the  weekend. After coming home from the book store hoping to get Maximum Ride Schools out forever. Sadly they did not have it. I did however pick up Perks of Being a Wall Flower, which was an excellent read, probably one of my favorite books ever. that same weekend I also watched the movie on netflix. There were quite some differences from the book to the movie but the overall was great. I loved Charliwe in this story he was always looking out for others and is so sweet.

Fat Boy Chronicles

The setting of this novel takes place in mason high school and it is about Jimmy a 14 year old 187 pound kid. he is trying to fit in and become fit at the same time. He has a lot of struggles to over come like bullying and his weight, drugs sex and his sister. I decided to read this book because i m being forced to but i am enjoying it. It starts out in the small but growing Mason Ohio. As this also is wear I'm growing up it really surprises me that this happened not to long ago. The book starts out with the beginning of his bullying and takes us threw the living hell that was his high school.

Future of us

The book future of us was written by Jay Asher who is also the writer of 13 reasons why. in a couple paragraphs in and i already love the book. The setting starts in a small town. Our main characters Emma and Jonah are just getting the Internet and when Emma is setting up her first AOL account. When she signs in she is taken to a Facebook page, her Facebook page the weird part is its 1996 Facebook hasn't been invented yet.

Emma is scrolling through her Facebook page and sees shes married and has more than 500 friends. Then she sees the ugly part of her future. She starts to panic over the next couple of days because her future seems so bleak. She
then searches up Jonahs future to check up on him. He is living a great life and married to the most beautiful girl in there entire school. Jonah finds out and is so excited but still has feelings for Emma.

Jonah and Emma were gonna hang out one day after school when Jonah goes and sees her making out with and being felt up buy another guy. this sends Jonah into a jealous rage and sends him running at full speed home. this is were i left off last time i read i am very exited to see what happens next in this story.

Reflection post

My struggles in blogging were learning the different functionality's of blogging and the tasks and responsibility that comes with it. I learned ways to overcome this bye looking up videos online and asking people in the classroom and at home.

My next trimesters goal is to read 5 books and write more blog posts that im not being forced to write. I can improve on my grammar and spelling skills as well as my understanding of reading itself

My Maximum Experience with The Angel Experiment

             I just finished Maximum Ride the Angel experiment and it was the best book i have read in a very long time. It filled me up with suspense and drama and amazing Sci-fi super powers along with spine shivering fight scenes and a few sweet love scenes. I recommend this book to anyone who can read. You will be hooked after the first chapter and wont be able to put this book down until the last. I will be picking up the second book in the series Maximum Ride: Schools Out Forever as soon as possible.

Maximum Ride Update and character information

Our heros are after an amazing rescue from the school and a huge plot twist they find themselves New York city to find the Institute for Higher Living.

            The characters of my book include Max Fang Iggy Nudge Gasman and Angel. Max the main character is a very complex person. She is supposed to be the fearless leader of the group but sometimes she just wants to crawl back into her hole and let Fang take over.


             Gasman and Angel are both twins and are about 9 years old. Angel plays a huge roll in this story plot but i do not know why. Fang is max's other half she is the bread he is the butter theyre the perfect team even though Fang wants them to be more then just team mates. Nudge is a female character at 13 years old shes a mighty fighter but has a sweet personality and a big appetite.

Maximum Ride The Angel Experiment

              Woah so far i am loving this book guys! Even tho I'm only 1/8 done with this book I'm already in love with it and here is the plot Ive got so far. Fang, Iggy, Nudge, Gasman, angel, and max are all from the school and all have specially abilities. They all have wings they are 98% human 2% avian and when the erasers, half dog half human blood thirsty hounds come after them angel- the youngest gets taken by the erasers. Oh and one more thing, angel, she can read minds.



I don't know what is going to happen next because max fang and nudge are off on a seven hour flight to save angel, and by flight i don't mean on a plane.

Summer reading practice blog

            So I was reading City Of Theives by David Bennioff for my summer reading project and it was a good read and I enjoyed it. The theme of this book is second chances, as it did not take mee a while to find out the theme it showed me that everyone deserves a second chance and in the face of danger you must remain strong, In the book our two main charecters Lev and Kolya are arrested for looting a german and desserting his troops. Instead of excecution they are given a second chance. Near the end of the bookthey are given a chance to survive if Lev can beat a general in chess. Those are great examples about how the theme of this book is second chances.
